I'm sure Peter makes these kind of modifications with whatever is easiest to find. In other words, follow the old advice: the more detailed you are, the more satisfied you will be. Ask for metal zippers and ye shall receive.

Remember, Mr. Botwright makes products primarily to the detailed instructions of multiple screen productions [er, their wardrobe departments]. He is in the business of giving clients exactly what they want. If you want an inside zipper made out of cheese, I'll bet he'll give it a try. :)
