I have (somewhere) the illustrated script, in which the character is named SATIPO. However, when Indy is escaping from the self-destructing Temple of the Chachapoyan Warriors, and he comes to the impaled victim, he clearly says, "Adios, Sapito." This confused me when I was younger and only had the script, but not the video. If a DVD version of the movie translates the line as "Adios, stupido," there is this to consider: they might have goofed or Harrison Ford may have goofed the line and they were stumped by the difference between the script and the spoken dialogue. (It would be understandable that Ford might turn "Satipo" into borderese for "little sap" by transposing the T and the P, since being stupid and greedy is the character's function in the story.)
