i'm just introducing myself. i've been an aspiring indy girl for most of my life. in college now, toyed with archaeology, but ultimately focused on history.
this summer i backpacked in europe and especially enjoyed venice.
there is a decided prevalence of what one might term "indiana jones churches"...almost every one [ok, san marco excluded] looks like the one converted into a library, so last crusade goes. so, always the devoted fan, i took pictures of all of them.
i stayed with these nuns across from the main island and had a view of an especially pleasing church. kept hoping to see dr. henry jones junior pop out of a sewer and declare his love for venice.
it wasn't to be. but the gellati was perfection.

will anyone write back to this message? hierachies are made to be broken, and i intend to lead the revolution. i jest, of course, in some ways. and send my highest regards to an entertaining board.
