I guess I was trying to fight fire with fire so to speak. I don't think the possibility of jackets with differences is so far-fetched, so comments like "nonsense" and "stupidest thing I've ever heard" kind of got to me. I apologize for the use of "flimsy" in my characterization of the argument. The argument isn't invalid, it just leaves room for the possibility. But, as you say, it's all speculation. Unless Terry Leonard or somebody like that pops up and says, " Oh yeah, we used the gusset model for such-and-such a stunt," we don't have any grounds for the "stunt" jacket theory.
