Some quick thoughts now that I've had a moment to compare.

The differences are:

Peter Bros: thicker stiffer felt

Miller; softer smoother more flexible
Peter Bros: browner brown

Miller: ruddier brown the Miller has a bit more red
in the hue)

Peter Bros: taller crown

Miller: consistent brim (Peter Bros does dimensional cuts)

Peter Bros: shorter ribbon (helps accentuate the tall crown)

Miller: to my eye, a dead ringer for the school and Venice
scenes of LC

Peter Bros: as you wish, since they cut and bash to your liking

Both: available in black (for those of us who wear hats often)

Peter Bros: available in many colors

Miller: available in open crown (though I bet Peter Bros is too)

Peter Bros: red or white lining

Miller: white lining

Both: leather interior band with nice gold lettering

Is one "better" than the other? Depends on what you like. Both are a fine addition to one's everyday wardrobe, and I'm glad to have the luxury of having both!
