Talk about continuity errors! Like how no one can decide if Indy teaches at Barnett College, Marshall College (accroding to the RAIDERS novelisation), or Princeton (as some of the novels have erroneously attested). I say Barnett; the movies are canon, above and beyond everything else...

As far as the name on the address, our rationalisation of the day could be...

1. Henry labeled it thusly to insure that Indy would open it. Perhaps Henry is the only person in the workd who calls Indy 'Henry, Jr", and since they had drifted apart, wanted to make sure that Indy didn't just look at it and go "'Henry Jones, Jr'? This must be from dad!" and throw it in the trash, unopened.

2. Since Henry knew he was surrounded by spies and traitors, he was trying to throw them off the trail? Nah, that's weak....

3. He did it for the same reason he calls him 'Indiana' for the first time, at film's end: to show his son that he is very serious, and very much in earnest.
