: : Hey, Ford fans! Follow the link. Harrison Ford is the "Featured Celebrity of the Week." Click on it, and get zapped to a Harrison Ford data page, bookmarkable. Ciao! BTW, if the link doesn't post, it's www.celebrity1000.com

: Is it just me, or is there some link between Indy fans and Tolkien fans? Maybe it's the whole idea of a noble quest, powerful artifacts, and amazing characters. Any opinions appreciated

I don't really know what the connection is... though Indy is pure adventure, history, and terrific music and Tolkien can be as well, there's a lot of difference as well. Perhaps the talent of Lucas in creating a great, legendary character and the talent of Tolkien in creating a whole, real-as-our-own world, simply have an appeal that attracts many of the same people. I'm glad to have them both.

Aragorn

"Only three of his people came ever back over the mountains after long wandering; and of these one was Ohtar his esquire, to whose keeping he had given the shards of the sword of Elendil."

From THE SILMARILLION by J. R. R. Tolkien
