: I need some advice regarding the whipholder on the Noel Howard Raiders gunbelt. I've had the belt for a while and recently took the plunge and bought a 10' Mark Allen whip. After a good coat of Pecards, I coiled the whip and set it in the whip holder to try it on. I noticed while walking around the room that the whip slides through the holder and doesn't stay coiled. The holder doesn't seem to be tight enough. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you have the holder altered? Does the Lee Kepler belt/whipholder hold the whip more securely? I would greatly appreciate any advice you can provide.

: Yes the Keppler Whip holder is snugger and has a one way snap so you can really cinch it down without the whipholder poping open under tension. It does the best job of re-creating "Movie Magic". By the way, the way they really did it was to coil the whip and wire it in place until Ford had to draw the whip. They did'nt use a directional snap so it would release under tension. In a similar vein, the reason the hero's concealed handgun conceals so well is that he's not wearing the gun and holster until the gun is needed to be drawn for the scene. Ain't movie magic great?
