Hollywood strike???

One thing that scares me is that in a recent edition of Entertainment Weekly, the cover story talks about a strike that is predicted to be put on by the Guilds of hollywood starting next spring and lasting 4-16 months. I don't exactly get what the situation is, but it says that is has something to do with disputes over advertising. It says that for a while, there will be no new episodes of TV series produced and that only indie (that's INDIE, not INDY!) films will be released theatrically. What affect could this have on the fate of INDY IV? I couldn't find this story at ew.com (but, then, it's late!), so I can post a link, but I think it need consideration. What's your take???
