: : : Can anyone back me up on this? Back around '92/'93, Jimmy Buffet played at the Walnut Creek Pavillion in North Carolina. As customary at a Buffet concert, he showed a short intro film on a giant screen over the stage before breaking into the music. This film was about him flying a seaplane to some exotic, Carribbean party. But in the film, Jimmy goes to the front of the plane to see who's flying it and it's Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. Of course, Jimmy looks at the camera and says, "Uh no, not with you!" My die-hard Buffet friends think I'm crazier than all get out. Does anybody remember this?

: : I've never heard this, but it's certainly possible. Ford and Buffet are good friends. (Ford credited Buffet as a partial inspiration for getting an earring last summer on Jay Leno.) Please let us know if you find out anymore about this. Thanks!

: : There may be something to that because in Ford's new film with Gwnyth Paltrow, he plays a rogue, bush pilot. Ford, in real life, loves flying and has a couple of planes. Not unlike, his bud Jimmy Buffet, who is also a licensed pilot and flys a seaplane. Maybe Ford picked up his love for flying from Buffet?

This film was shown during break-time on the "Banana Wind Tour".
The tune played was the instrumental he had jsut released for that album. No---you are not nuts---just thought you might like to know!!!
I sat in awe of this short movie and took it all in as the other "parrot-heads" went to the "can" and stood in line for "refreshments" and missed it all.
