Too much effort. I used a safety pin to bunch up some lining. After a week or so, when I'd found the "sweet" spot, I just sewed the bunching gently together with some loops of thread. Ain't 100% cosmetically appealing, but few folks should be looking insider under my right arm! ;-)

Also, it's totally reversible and the price was right!
