I think I'm onto what you were saying...

It appears to me that the dent on the sides is VERY shallow, from front to back; the side pinches don't go back as far as the traditional fedora has (about half way or so...)

Just seeing if we're on the same page.

This will be my first foray into a "make this hat just like this" and I'd like to leverage everyone's experience where possible!
