Well you should go for the mink brown hat with a dark brown ribbon but if want a darker ribbon you should go black, which really is only a shade darker than the dark brown. As for dimensions, you wear the same hat size as I do (7 3/8) and what I got was a hat which is close to the hat size of Harrison Ford, which is a size down (7 1/4). The dimensions you should talk over with Joe Jr about and the ones I got was 5 7/8 inch crown when undented and 2 3/4X 2 1/2 brim. The crown goes to about 5 1/2 on the sides when creased, if my memory serves me right. Hope this helps.
