Gee, I always thought that the Temple was closer to the TOD fedora, since several of his fedoras from that film had a visible taper to the crown(nm)

: The old tried and true "Temple" has been around for a long time, and it's one a lot of us got started with when we first got into the hobby, or variants of it. It's a very good hat, and originally cost $90+ in high end stores, so this is a real bargin, and the quality of the hat hasn't changed as far as I know. The crown is a little short, but compares well with the LC fedora, so it's not that far off the mark. Like Ben said, a good bargain, and a good hat to boot! Regards. Michaelson

: : For all you bargain hunters out there looking for a good Raiders hat for a Halloween costume or just a spare for all those action sequences where you don't want to damage your HJ or PB, I just received a Stetson "Temple" hat from the Stetson Factory Outlet store. Sure the crown may be a fuzz short and have a slight taper and the band a little wide, but the colors and "look" are generally right on track. For $34.99 + Tax and $3.00 S/H via UPS to anywhere in the US, it is a great bargain and a pretty good all around hat. The ladies that work there are also very helpful. Sadly, the "Nostalgia" hat is rare to be found there since it has been discontinued for a couple of years, but you might get lucky. No, I don't work for them and I get no commission, I just thought I'd pass along a good deal. Highly recommended.
