Many people are asking how to keep their whip from slipping through the carrier. That is, uncoiling until the handle is dragging on the ground. Here it is, it's quite simple. Quick disclaimer: I made my own carrier, so this works for me. If your carrier has a good snug fit it should apply to you, too. When you hang the whip in the carrier it's natural to not care really how the coils lay. This is the problem. Rather than allowing the coils to lay randomly they must be stacked vertically with the thickest part of the thong on the bottom. This allows the plaiting to grip the raw texture of the carrier. When snapped the other coils place presure on the thicker coil, allowing for even greater traction. That's how I do it, and it doesn't slip, even when I run. CAUTION!: when running with a whip, be sure to carry sharp scissors in the opposing hand.
