: I have the worst luck when it comes to having things shipped to me.

During September, I bought something off eBay from someone in Britain and it took forever (36 days) to reach me. I checked with the seller early on and he said that there was some kind of postal strike or worker slowdown going on which had severely delayed mail leaving the country. If this is still going on it may explain the delay in your order.
