Thanks for this info. I've heard everything from it being Case XX to this story, but considering everything else that has come out of this movie, I never could believe that they actually had something from just off the shelf, other than the gloves. I agree, I don't believe SS was available until mid way through WWII. I'm currently wearing a 1943 vintage wrist watch, all stainless steel case, so it wasn't to long after the date of the movie that it actually became available for commercial use. Regards. Michaelson
