Aside from looking for an outlet for his displays of jackassery the thing this person is looking for is attention.

I suggest from here on in we ignore him as best we can, don't bait him, don't acknowledge him (except for the info to contact SpaceProxy).

Send SpacePROXY a letter reporting the abuse. Have your mom send one, and your dad, your kid sister, your best friend, your co-workers, your dog, who-ever you know who has 2 seconds to send an eMail. Then forget about him.

And since I can't resist a parting potshot - forget about him, like every one of his ex-friends seems to have, otherwise how else would he find the time to make these desperate 'cry-for-help' pleas for attention. Eventually he'll grow up, crawl back under his rock, or show enough guts to post using his contact info, opening himself up to the kind of trite and uninventive spam he's so not very good at.
