The "gussets" in an earlier post

hi guys,
and earlier post about "gussests" never said if they were a necessity...

i was wondering if Indy had these "Gussets" or if that would make the jacket i'm planning on getting "not authentic"....

thanks guys...this forum is great, 'tho i can't seem to find the posts that everyone is so heated over...i'm assuming that you got rid of them, which is good...
