It's my understanding that the guy had to practice with the sword for a good long while (2 months if memory serves me), only to have his screen time cut to those few seconds. But hey, he got an action figure out of the deal, which is more than Marcus, or the guy who deciphers the headpiece for that matter - he had lines at least.
