The truck drag was, of course, a great scene and a great stunt. Performed by the great Terry Leonard, who was a protege of the legendary Yakima Canutt, who did the original and much more dangerous drag in "Stagecoach" way back in 1939. But since "Raiders of the Lost Ark" actually occurred in 1936 I submit that is where they got the idea for the "Stagecoach" stunt. Any takers?
