Dierdre was Indy's wife. . .his one and only wife who . . .well, I'm not going to ruin anything for you guys, but I highly recommend reading Indiana Jones and the Seven Veils, one of the best Indy novels in my opinion. It explains what happens to Deirdre and I think that was the novel where Indy and her get married, so check it out!
