To be perfectly serius... in a way he's right. When we dress up as James Bond, we are wanting to become, and bring out that, Charsimatic, quick witted character inside of us! Soo, when we dress as Indy, whipping out the hat and jacket, we want to becomne like an Indiana, to have the courage to go the extra step... haha, I'll think about that later!

: In response to those telling dreamers to get a grip on themselves on
: the forum:

: First off, Indiana Jones was based on a real archaelogist, a very Indy-like person indeed. (Wore a fedora, too.) Read the bit of information included at the end of Indiana Jones and the Dinosaur Eggs for details. Secondly, Indiana Jones exists as an ideal--he is the adventurer in all of us. He is a symbol of courage and ingenuity, when one thinks Indiana Jones, one sees him dodging arrows, swinging from a whip, fleeing boulders to escape just in time.

: And he makes mistakes, but he's a good person, with a good heart. That's what Indiana Jones is all about. The Grail, The Ark, and the Stones are all secondary to that. Indiana Jones is the little voice inside each of us that tells us "Just one more step, you can do it...!", you can do amazing things if you strive for them, if you persevere. Whether you're raiding the lost ark, or studying for your diploma, a little Indiana Jones goes a long way.

: And so, to those of you who fantasize of donning jacket and fedora
: in search of lost cities, I say, don't let cynics and "realists" crush your dreams. Most of you, admittedly, won't be finding any lost civilizations, or magical artifacts. But it's the dream and the drive
: that are important. Don't let go of the dream, and more importantly,
: strive to make your dreams come true.

: And at last, in closing...

: Your little friends are wrong. Yes, Virginia, there is an Indiana Jones.
