But Wested did not make the jackets for Temple of Doom. They were contracted out to a French company for Temple of Doom. This arose due to some rift between Wested and Burmans and Nathans due to Wested going outside regular channels to do work on a Bond film. Word has it that Ford did not like the French jackets. They can be identified by the A2 pockets, square buckles on the side straps, and lower positioning of the bi-swing pleat. the story goes on that the rift was mended or maybe just forgotten, and in light of Ford not caring for the French made jackets, Wested was brough back in to make the Last Crusade jackets.
