I seem to recall hearing about a scene or two which were cut from the final release of The Last Crusade, wherein Indy mugs a Gestapo man in the aerodrome restroom, or some such, and gets a ticket by impersonating the guy. Apparently, that's why he and Pops are wearing the black overcoats. Of course, it's been a while since I saw this info, so I may be getting it wrong. Maybe that's the scene you were thinking of...
