Where'd the bag go?

Anyone ever notice in 'Last Crusade' that when Indy goes through the 'tests' to get to the Holy Grail, he is wearing his shoulder bag, but when he gets into the room with the Knight, it's gone. He's not seen wearing it for the rest of the flick. Where'd it go?!
Also, after him and Henry Sr. escape the room on fir and the Nazi's he grabs his bag and they run upstairs. In the next shot when they are at the top of the stairs, he has it on. As any Indy fan knows, he wears it under his jacket. Man! He got that jacket off and the bag on pdq from the bottom of the stairs to the top. I know that's bein' a little nit picky, but the fianl scene when the bag disappears shouldn't ahve been overlooked.
