And, when Shorty and Wille caught caight in the Temple of Doom, while Shorty's fighting the Thuggees, you can see Willie get away in the BG. But we never see her get caught; she just shows up later as a prisoner.

Much like in RAIDERS, when Indy and Marion are trapped by the Nazis in the Well of Souls, Sallah is the German's prisoner, but later on, when he pops up after the fight at the Flying Wing, he appears to have been 'let go', for no explained reason...
