In the movies, we only see a little slice of Indy's life. You can't live in the same trousers and shirt ALL of the time.
Yes, Indy had his favorite khaki shirt for being abroad, and he liked his chinos, but who's to say that he didn't wear blue dungarees when beating around the house?
Or, he had a different khaki shirt without the vertical strips in the closet beside the other?
