ample hats...raider hat cheap substitute? or just cheap?

ok, well, i couldn't wait any longer for A hat...even though it's not the peters brothers hat i'm GOING to get...so i just grabbed a cheap substitute. Ample hats "Raider Hat" suggests in its description that it's an Indy type of hat...well, i know it's not very accurate, and that's fine...

what i want to know is wether or not this hat is "stiff"...anyone who understands the difference between fine hats and cheaper hats will know that certain kinds of felt are "crushable"...

i hope this one isn't...i have a light wool felt hat already and there is no need for me to have another one...

is the raider hat from ample hats a cheap substitute? or is it just cheap?
