Chapter 19, "Winds of Change," portrays Indy's involvement in the Paris Peace Conference at the end of the Great War.

Toward the beginning, Indy is politically enamoured of Democratic President Woodrow Wilson and his idealistic League of Nations.

As the episode progresses, Indy sees the reality of politics and beaurocracy and becomes disenchanted with the whole system (American as well as British and French).

By the time he's an adult, I see Indy as politically cynical, perhaps to the point of not involving himself in the process. "Democrat, Republican, they're all the same."
