: I'll be driving to El Cajon within the next two months. I'll get my fingers on that deerskin, and nobody can stop me! Patterson, I NEED to see pictures! More pictures, PLEASE! Also, what leather conditioner is recommended for the deerskin?
: FG

: : Yep! It just arrived, and OH, MY GAWD! What a work of art!

: : The deerskin is ultra soft, and it kinda smells like I fell asleep on on of those expensive leather couches in the showroom - the ones where my wife always says "Get you feet down!"

: : Anyway - I'm in heaven. It will be a battle between this and the roo skin US Wings every morning on the way out the door.

: : Cheers!

Also - another cool thing about deerskin. It requires little in the way of leather dressing or treatment. It is very resistant to drying - even when it gets really, REALLY wet. You can use Pecards or Lexol. Pecards will darken it a bit. I'm just leaving this alone, and am going to wear, wear, WEAR it until they either bury me in it or it falls apart. Then I'll order another one - I figure I have 50 years or so?

Let me know if you want a sample - FS will send them as well, but I have a very large one I'd be happy to send for folks to swap.

Cheers!

Patterson
