Just got it back from my tailor. Luckily, he is around the block from my office. Did a good job, looks like it will endure and the rip has been covered. For good measure, I had him close up the handwarmer pockets.I know that is not the "authentic" way, but I always thought the pockets look better if they always lie flat next to the jacket, in the same manner as my A-2.
