Yeah, maybe The Sixth Sense wasn't that scary, but it wassomething original, what Hollywood lacks. In the theater, when the room gets quiet and the sound blasters go BOO!, it's not horror. To achieve true horror, the director should ask the projectionist not to mess with the sound.That is just annoying.
