Speaking of the bag, well I was at a Revolutionary War reenactment a week or so ago. I use the bag to carry my cameras (I like to play with manual range finders). One of the "Colonials" made a comment that the bag was something that would have been carried during that period. I told him it was from WWII and he seemed surprised. I guess it just depends on your point of view.
