I went to Westeds shop on Friday to get a pre distressed Crusade, but upon seeing it I was really unimpressed. The leather looks like it's been through a cheese grater and is like a really horrible suede all over. It also looks as though they distress it before they sew the jackets together as you don't get any of the seem wear i.e. around the pockets. I think they must have changed their processes because they definitely don't look like Abners comparison pic on Indygear.

I got a new Crusade lambskin BTW.
