I went to a Civil War re-enactment once with my daughters wearing my fedora, and was asked at the gate what regiment I was in, and on whose side. It took me a second to realize that they thought I was there to participate in the re-enactment, not as a spectator! Guess my hat was pretty beat up looking that time. Regards. Michaelson
