: I ordered my hat at my usual size and it was to tight. I sent it back to Joe and he streched it out an 1/8" bigger. It now fits perfect. I would send it back. It is only about $7.00 for the postage to and from.I put $5.00 cash in the hat for Joe to ship it back. I hope this helps.

That sounds great, that is probably close to what i need. I ordered my regular hat size a 7, but i didn't think about the snug feeling and the leather band also. Thanks for the tip!
