You guys are certainly the experts in all this, but so far I haven't seen a post so you might be unaware that Akubra have put out an Indy-style Fedora - they call it the Adventurer. Last time I checked it wasn't on their website but I believe that you can see it on www.gowlings.com.au - a Sydney department store. Whether it is as precise a copy as you guys like remains to be seen - but for Aus$120 it's probably a pretty good deal for most of you. I just bought one and am pretty darned pleased.
