Do you think a 40L would work for me?

Your information there is very helpful, as I would've ordered a 42R too. I'm 5'10", 170 lbs. and my Wested says "40" on the tag. The Wested's fits great with no sweatshirts, but it could be a hair bigger. Are you about the same build? Do you think a 40L would be a better choice for me too?
