Not a glitch... there is a seal you need to place on the keyhole, which you'll find in one of the bedrooms in the monastary. I think that might be the part you're looking for. It's set on a bookcase in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Oh, and try this for fun: put up your dukes and take a few swings at the old lady. She's a tough old bird, she doesn't even flinch! (I was bored and didn't want to run into any more ice critters) Don't worry, in the PC version, she doesn't do anything; I have little reason to believe the N64 version is ay different.

PS: Anyone know how hard the Guardian of Nub's Part is? After how hard Queztalcoatl was, I'm not sure I've got much to look forward to. Oh well, that's half the fun! ;)
