DIlemma To send back or not to

My Indy 64 keeps screwing up everytime I levitate myself up in the Russian boat...and not just freezing up I mean screwing up to where I have to turn the whole machine off and restart....EVERYTIME should I email LucasArts and ask what to do or just wait a few days and see if it gets better?
