In the 70's men in porn films wore silk neck scarves. So did Fred. When the gang split up Fred and Daphne ALWAYS went off together. Shaggy was skinny, always paranoid and hungry and he was the only one that could hear the dog talking. Scooby snacks, my ass! Hash brownies is more like it.
