You have to go to the blue room where you got the "tool from beyond", then jump into the big gap in the floor, you have to do this first. You'll land in Aetherium, now you have to swim into the orange tunnel. But don't enter the tunnel that goes to the Palawan Island, look all around for a different one. When you find it, go in the damn thing!
