I just got a new pair for christmas and I ordered a 12 C which is what I got 3 years ago and they fit a little snug on the sides, I guess my feet have gotten a little wider but I'm sure they will stretch. But to answer ur question, yes I wear a 12 in all other shoes I have bought and the 12 fits me fine in the Alden as well, what u need to worry about is width, go to a shoe store and have them measure the width of ur foot. Unless u know what width u wear. I didnt cuz I have never bought shoes with A, B, C, D and E shoe width sizes except Aldens. Hope that helps.

PS- I thought somebody said the leather on the shoes is now lighter, my new pair were darker than my first pair.
