A question for Miller owners....

Well, I wanna buy a hat for a relatively cheap price, but I don't wanna give the thing a major overhaul, so, my question is, Does the Indiana Miller make a decent Indy hat without tweaking with it? I plan on changing the ribbon, but if I bought a Miller pre-bashed, would it still be okay? Or is a major re-bashing (or buying an unbashed crown) needed for even the basic Indy look?
