In Reply to: Still working on it? How many months has it been now since the "prototype"? Geeze, we'll see "Indy 4" before a finished Expedition design. (nm) posted by Austin Powers on January 06, 2001 at 01:42:15:

..let's remember, WE'RE the ones who pried open the door on this project, as Flight Suits has not officially announced the release of this jacket yet, either by catalog or web site, but mainly through word of mouth and our forum discussions. They thought they had it nailed a couple of months ago, but have found problems, through discussions with fans, and are currently correcting them before making the official announcement and release of the jackets to the public. We are VERY fortunate to be working with a company that is allowing US to participate in the process of making sure the patterns are correct before they commit. Let's put this in prospective, Austin, as you're complaining about a product that basically doesn't officially exist yet in any form or capacity. It's a work in progress, and an almost a complete one at that. I could understand all the hoopla if this jacket were on the open market and they weren't responding to design flaw complaints from customers, but that is not the case here. I'm not sure what axe you're grinding here, but apparently something's bothering you. If you have true concerns, call Dave Marshall at Flight Suits. He is more than willing to talk to customers/potential customers to find out what they're thinking and needs are concerning their jackets. He is cut from the same cloth in terms of customer service and concerns as Joe Peters Jr, and that's saying something! Hope this helps. Regards. Michaelson
