It is the same felt, without the stiffener that Joe is so fond of. Patterson's PB fedora didn't look any thicker then my Miller. The stiffener is the culprit. PeterBros makes a lot of western hats. I assume that stiff is popular with cowboys. I will post a review when it arrives.
