Don't get me wrong here, but why on earth would you want to wear a hat
while driving a car, unless the roof is leaky? I'm not Miss Manners
(God is my witness!), but I recall that this it's considered a faux-
pas to wear a hat indoors or inside a car - unless you're driving that
convertible...
Indy was wearing his hat pretty much everywhere, but he always had his
hands full and it's usually not the right time to consider good
manners - and the car he used in LS looked pretty cold.
What gives? Is it fear of a bad-hair-day? ;)
