Sean, I don't think that "fighting" sleaze with sleaze is the way to go. As much as it pains me to say, if someone out there is willing to spend more money than he has to, well, that's America and if he chooses to pay more, let him. No one's forcing him to buy. Only if the seller was committing fraud or deliberately cheating a customer would I really scorn on it.

Whatever the circumstance, Ebay at least TRIES to maintain a legitimate service for private auctions. To bid is to place a contract, and to do an about-face is childish in its own right.
