Reminds me of an old economic adage that says a particular product is valued at what the market will bear.(nm)

: : Hi:
: : E-bay sellers are SCALPING an easy to find item for a HUGE markup.
: : We're not talking about some rare item to round out your collection. Plain and simple.
: : Sean

: Sean,

: It doesn't matter what the item is. I could put up a box of macoroni and cheese with an opening bid of 10.00. I think we would agree that anyone can go to their local grocery and buy this for 89 cents but if someone wants to buy my box for 10.00 then what's the problem? All the ebay seller is doing is offering a product. As long as there aren't any false statements about the item then who cares if someone buys it for whatever price they feel it is worth to them. Maybe to them it is worth the extra money to get it in perfect condition and for cheaper and faster shipping. All this talk about sabotaging auctions and calling sellers dishonest scalpers is just plain silly.
